One of the advantages of Speak Out courses is dealing with the educational content of the BBC video series and trying to familiarize students with English as a second language by providing different situations and placing students in these situations. As a result, this process will be more effective for improving students’ conversational level and their education.
Like other English language textbooks, Speak Out books try to strengthen all four main skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading), but the main focus is on strengthening speaking skills.
Speak Out books, at each level, include a main book, which is mainly used during the class, and a work book to repeat and consolidate the material taught in the classroom for further language training. Each book contains 10-12 lessons and each lesson teaches listening, pronunciation and understanding skills in the form of four sections. All parts of this book are conversation-oriented and designed to empower language learners in communication, the ability to transfer concepts and improve conversational skills.
Basic Level
This level is suitable for learners who have no knowledge of English. Some of the topics covered during this course include: getting to know countries and nationalities, jobs, family issues, everyday issues, etc.
Elementary Level
Learners who are familiar with the basic structure of the English language can start learning from this level. In this course, students will learn practical conversations and grammar appropriate to the elementary level of English. Conversations such as greetings, lifestyle, communication between individuals, places to see, experiences, etc.
Pre-Intermediate Level
At this level, language learners are expected to have reached a stage where they can easily express their opinions on various topics and understand the principles of various skills correctly. To strengthen reading comprehension and listening skills of students at this level, they will be involved in the analysis of audio files and longer and more complex texts. Some of the topics that will be considered in the course are: nature, society, technology, fame, etc.
Intermediate
Language learners are able to participate in Intermediate courses, who can express their opinions and opinions about different subjects easily and without noticeable problems, and understand the principles of different skills correctly. Upper Intermediate
At this stage, it is no longer acceptable for students to speak slowly. Advanced
Learning a set of words and expressions related to practical subjects, advanced grammatical structures, specialized texts, etc., makes it possible to gain the ability to talk in public, conferences, meetings, etc. at the end of this course.
